Ministers of the Most High, preachers of truth, trumpeters of the Gospel, allow me to offer you the white rose of this little book, that I may place the truths here simply, without formality, in your hearts and on your lips. In your hearts, that you yourselves may undertake the holy practice of the Rosary and taste its fruits. In your lips, that you may preach to others the excellence of this practice and convert them in this way. Be careful, I beg you, not to consider this practice, as the common people, and even many proud scholars, do, small and of little importance; it is truly great, sublime and divine. Heaven has given it to us, and has given it to convert the most obstinate sinners and the most obstinate heretics. God has added grace to it in this life and glory in the next. The saints have practiced it, and the Supreme Pontiffs have authorized it. Oh! How blessed is the priest and spiritual director to whom the Holy Spirit has revealed this secret, unknown or superficially known to most people! If he receives practical knowledge of it, he will recite it daily and will order others to recite it. God and his Holy Mother will pour abundant grace into his soul to make him an instrument of their glory, and he will bear more fruit in one month through simple words than other preachers do in several years.
